Vision
Watteau was born from a simple intention: to bring care and attention back to the heart of creation.
In a fast-moving environment where images and productions are constantly accelerating, we believe in taking the time to think, to listen, and to craft things properly. For us, quality comes from attention, dialogue, and respect for the creative process as much as for the people involved in it.
We value clear ideas, collective work, and the importance of detail. Every project is the result of collaboration between talents, clients, and teams who share the same desire to create something meaningful.
Our ambition is not to do more, but to do better. We aim to create projects that feel sincere, lasting, and relevant for the brands we collaborate with, while supporting and accompanying the creative talents we represent and work alongside. Over time, we hope to contribute, in our own way, to a more thoughtful and responsible creative industry.
Who We Are
The name Watteau is inspired by an artwork by the French painter Antoine Watteau and his figure of Pierrot — a character suspended between stage and intimacy, spectacle and truth.
This reference reflects our attachment to artistic sensitivity, nuance, and the precision of craft. It also mirrors the balance we seek between creativity and production, imagination and execution.
The journey began with Rebecca Miquel and the creation of 1718 — the year Pierrot was painted — marking the first step of a project that has grown progressively and organically over time.
Today, Watteau brings together several complementary entities:
Fantastic — Creative Direction & Production
8 Represent — Talent Representation
1718 — Production Services
Le Studio Confidentiel — A space for shootings, events and encounters
Each structure retains its own autonomy, culture, and expertise. Together, they form an ecosystem designed to support projects consistently, from talent to production, while preserving the identity and independence of every entity.
Nos engagements
We are aware of the impact of our industry and of the role we can play, at our own scale.
Our commitment is pragmatic and progressive. Rather than claiming perfection, we focus on taking concrete steps and improving continuously.
This includes:
gradually improving our production practices
collaborating with responsible partners and suppliers
encouraging more sustainable ways of working
remaining attentive to the working conditions and well-being of all teams involved
The ISO 20121-24 certification obtained by Watteau and all its entities in 2025 marks an important milestone — and, above all, a starting point.
We see this commitment as an ongoing effort built on learning, transparency, and continuous improvement. We move forward with humility, convinced that every project is an opportunity to do better and to keep progressing.
